SPCA

I use to think that the SPCA was a good organization that helped animals who had been abused. Since the beginning of this year, I have found out that is not the case.

I have a lab/mix puppy dog who is mainly a house dog. Yes, she goes outside on occasion to play and chase the squirals and if she is bad during dinner time, she is put out because I want to eat my food, not the dog.

Earlier this year, the SPCA came to visit me because my inside dog did not have an outside dog house. I was confused and said she is mainly a house dog. That didn't matter. If she is outside for even a minute, she needs shelter. The lady reported that she would be back to see if I had bought a dog house or is able to show that I am providing adequate shelter.

I bought a $100 dollar dog house that is only used to put Grace's food in. Grace refuses to go inside the dog house unless she wants to eat.

Earlier today I was leaving the house to pick up the girls from Mother's Day Out and Grace wanted out. When I was coming back home, guess who I saw, the Houston SPCA. I hope that they do not come revisit me because my inside dog was outside playing and enjoying the fresh air.
